The Art of Aquascaping
Transform a simple glass box into a breathtaking underwater landscape. Explore our curated styles below.
Find Your Style
Everything you need to build your vision, neatly organized by style.

Dutch Style
The underwater garden. Dutch scapes rely entirely on the contrast, color, and texture of densely packed aquatic plants. Hardscape materials like wood or rock are rarely used.

Biotope
For the purist. A biotope attempts to perfectly replicate a specific natural habitat (like an Amazonian blackwater river) using only the exact species of fish, plants, and wood found in that specific location.

Nature Aquarium
Pioneered by Takashi Amano, this style mimics natural terrestrial landscapes—like forests or mountains—using a rich combination of driftwood, stones, and lush aquatic plants.

Iwagumi Style
Minimalist and serene. Iwagumi focuses heavily on carefully placed stones (usually an odd number) and low-growing carpeting plants to create a sense of vast, rolling landscapes.
