Shipping Policy

Order Processing Time

Dry Goods & Hardware: Orders for filters, food, aquariums, and hardscape are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.

Live Fish & Plants: To ensure the safety of our livestock, live orders are only shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This prevents animals from being stranded in carrier warehouses over the weekend. Orders placed after Wednesday morning will ship the following Monday.

Weather Holds

We actively monitor the weather at our facility, the carrier hubs, and your destination. If temperatures drop below 40°F (4°C) or rise above 90°F (32°C), we reserve the right to delay your shipment until weather conditions are safe for the animals. We will always notify you via email if a weather hold is placed on your order.

Shipping Methods

All live fish are shipped via Overnight or 2-Day Express depending on your location. Dry goods are shipped via standard ground services (3-5 business days). Heavy items like glass aquariums may require specialized freight shipping.

Local Pickup

If you are local, you can select "Local Pickup" during checkout. We will email you as soon as your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation and a valid ID. Livestock orders must be picked up within 48 hours of notification.
