Black Moor Goldfish

Black Moor Goldfish (*Carassius auratus*) is a beautiful fancy goldfish variety recognized by its deep black coloration, rounded body, distinctive telescope eyes, and elegant flowing fins. Its unique appearance makes it an attractive centerpiece for freshwater aquariums. Black Moors are generally peaceful and are best kept with other slow-moving fancy goldfish. They enjoy a varied omnivorous diet consisting of quality goldfish pellets, flakes, vegetables, and occasional protein-rich foods. Because of their protruding eyes and limited vision, the aquarium should have plenty of open swimming space and smooth decorations without sharp edges. With clean, well-filtered water, adequate swimming space, and proper nutrition, Black Moor Goldfish can develop into impressive, long-lived aquarium fish.
