Red Root Floater – Phyllanthus Fluitans – Loose Bunch—

About this item

Red Root Floater is a beautiful floating freshwater aquarium plant known for its compact rounded leaves and distinctive reddish roots that hang beneath the water surface. Its attractive colour and small growth form make it especially popular in planted aquariums, nano tanks, and shrimp setups. Under moderate to strong lighting and favourable nutrient conditions, the foliage can develop attractive shades ranging from green to deep red. The plant absorbs nutrients directly from the water column and can reproduce quickly through lateral shoots. Its hanging roots also provide useful shelter for shrimp, fry, and other small aquarium inhabitants. Occasional thinning helps prevent the plant from completely covering the water surface.
