1. Terms of Service (Usage Policy)
1.1 Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Das Aquarium website, webshop, and related services (“Service”).

- It is not stored for future reference
- The agreement is in English
By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and associated policies.
1.2 User Responsibilities
Users must:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain confidentiality of account credentials
- Use valid personal contact and payment details
Das Aquarium is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect or misleading information.
1.3 Communications
By using our Service, you agree to receive communications via Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Phone calls. This includes:
- Order confirmations
- Shipping updates
- Service notifications
- Promotional messages
You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.
1.4 Website Availability & Maintenance
Das Aquarium strives to ensure uninterrupted access to its services. However, the website may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, technical issues, server downtime, or third-party failures (including payment gateway disruptions). Maintenance activities may be conducted without prior notice.
Das Aquarium shall not be held liable for website inaccessibility, failed transactions due to technical issues, or delays caused by system disruptions.
1.5 Purchases & Payments
To complete a purchase, users must provide accurate billing and shipping details, and valid contact information.
- Accepted Payment Method: Online Payment via Razorpay (UPI / Cards / Net Banking / Wallets)
- Orders are processed only after successful payment confirmation
- Payment failures will result in automatic order cancellation
- Das Aquarium does not store payment details
1.6 Product Information & Pricing
- Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- Shipping charges are calculated separately
- Product images are illustrative and may vary
Das Aquarium reserves the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders with incorrect pricing.
1.7 Order Processing & Fulfilment
- Orders are processed within business hours
- Orders placed outside working hours are processed the next business day
- Orders will be fulfilled within a maximum of 30 days
Ownership transfers upon delivery.
1.8 Product Availability
If a product becomes unavailable, customers will be notified via Email/SMS/WhatsApp. Options include replacement, waiting, or cancellation. Refunds will be issued where applicable.
1.9 Maintenance Schedule & Product Care
Certain aquarium products require regular maintenance for optimal performance. Customers are responsible for routine cleaning, equipment checks, and water quality management.
Das Aquarium may provide maintenance guidelines and service reminders via WhatsApp or Email. Failure to follow recommended practices may result in product malfunction, reduced lifespan, or limited eligibility for claims.
1.10 Live Plants & Perishable Items
Das Aquarium is not liable for damage caused by delivery delays or failed delivery attempts. Customers should assess suitability before ordering.
1.11 Intellectual Property
All content on the platform is owned by Das Aquarium and protected under applicable laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
1.12 Disclaimer of Warranties
Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
1.13 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
1.14 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts or orders without prior notice for violations.
1.15 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kerala, India.
1.16 Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use implies acceptance.
2. Shipping & Delivery Policy
2.1 Order Processing
- Orders are processed within 24–48 hours
- Dispatch may take 2–7 working days depending on availability
2.2 Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on delivery location, package weight, and product category.
2.3 Special Shipping Conditions
Higher charges may apply for glass aquariums, wooden cabinets, and fragile or oversized items.
2.4 Delivery Timeline
- Major Cities: 2–7 working days
- Other Locations: 4–16 working days
Timelines are estimates and may vary.
2.5 Shipping Method
- Orders are shipped via authorized logistics partners
- Heavy or liquid items are shipped via surface transport
2.6 Order Tracking
Tracking details will be shared via Email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
2.7 Partial Shipments
Orders may be shipped separately at no additional cost.
2.8 Delivery Issues
If a package appears damaged or tampered, refuse delivery and contact support immediately.
2.9 Customer Responsibility
Customers must provide accurate address and contact details. Das Aquarium is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect information.
2.10 Unavailable Orders
If an item cannot be shipped within 7 days, it may be cancelled and a refund will be initiated.
2.11 Cancellation after Shipping
Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped.
3. Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
3.1 Mandatory Unboxing Requirement
Customers must record a clear, uninterrupted unboxing video showing the sealed package, opening process, and product condition. Failure to provide this will result in rejection of claims.
3.2 Eligibility for Returns
Returns/replacements are accepted only if:
- Product is damaged, defective, or incorrect
- Request is raised within 48 hours of delivery
- Valid proof (video/photos) is provided
3.3 Return Conditions
Products must be unused, in original condition, and returned with packaging and invoice. Improper packaging may result in rejection.
3.4 Replacement Policy
- Requests must be made within 48 hours
- Subject to verification
- Processed within a reasonable timeframe
3.5 Defective Product Replacement
Immediate replacement may be provided for defective products, subject to proof and approval.
3.6 Order Cancellation (Customer)
- Allowed only before dispatch
- Must be requested via WhatsApp or official channels
- Only full order cancellations allowed
3.7 Order Cancellation (Das Aquarium)
Orders may be cancelled due to stock issues, pricing errors, incorrect details, payment failure, or suspicious activity.
3.8 Refund Policy
Eligible Cases: Damaged or defective product, or incorrect product delivered.
Timeline: Initiation within 7 business days. Credit within 4–8 business days.
Charges: Up to 4% transaction fee may be deducted. No deduction if the issue is verified on our end.
3.9 Special Circumstances
In unforeseen situations, a full or partial refund may be issued.
3.10 Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for courier delays, damage after delivery, or claims without valid proof.

- Failed transactions will not be processed
